Nichtmonetäres Controlling der Lehrleistungen an der Fachhochschule Hannover

Nonmonetary Management Accounting of teaching performances at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Hanover

  • Since 2007 the ministry of science and culture in Lower Saxony uses an information system to allocate a part of the total budget in higher education institutions under conditions of competition. Across the performance-based budgeting a monitoring system is integrated, which allows evaluating the development of the concerned universities. For the differentiated evaluation monetary and nonmonetary data are accumulated. However, the accumulated data are not applyable for an internal Management Accounting at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Therefore reporting systems with standard reports inform of relevent processes and resources in order to enable well-founded decisions in a souring competition. Exemplary standard reports with teaching performances are conceptualized as a first component of the reporting system. The concept is based on an information demand analysis with inductive and deductive methods. The proceeding is generally assignable for further nonmonetary performances (e. g. research).
